I discovered the world of UX design during my final year at the University of California, Irvine. Studying as a computer science major, I had always viewed design from the developmental side, never considering something as important as the "user experience". After taking a class in user interaction software, I discovered an entirely different world of design that I was not aware could be applicable to software development. I immediately drew an interest towards UX, as I realized it reminded me of something I was quite familiar with: cinematography. In high school, I joined my school's TV Broadcast and Journalism club, where I learned the basics of film. I learned that the most important thing to convey in any kind of cinematic production was the story.
Telling a story that caters to your audience, to provide them with an engaging experience designed just for them.
I am currently working as a UX/UIDesigner at Neudesic.
